To provide an understanding of the basic concepts and methods of Statistics, for application in data analysis. To provide hands-on training in data analysis (along with computer applications). Emphasis is on application (including interpretation and analysis) rather than theoretical derivations. The idea is to impart training on how to make an argument with data.
